Core Beliefs

What We Believe

  • We believe the Bible is the living, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is more than a historical text; it is God's direct communication to humanity, carrying divine authority and timeless truth. The Scriptures provide not only inspiration and encouragement but also instruction for navigating life's challenges and uncertainties. Every passage is infused with the wisdom of God, serving as a guide for how we are called to live- revealing His heart promises, and His will for our lives.

  • The Gospel is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every person is precious to God and that His desire is for no one to spend eternity apart from Him. It is for this reason that God, in His boundless love, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take upon Himself the penalty for our sins. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, the door to salvation was opened for all of humanity. Our mission is to share this message of hope and redemption with those who are far from God, so they may experience the saving grace of Jesus and be reconciled to their Heavenly Father.

  • God has designed us for connection. The Scriptures emphasize the importance of belonging to a family of faith, where each individual is valued and loved. Many of us come from broken homes or fractured relationships, carrying wounds from the past. Yet, through Christ, we find healing and restoration, and much of this transformation happens in the context of a loving community. We at HCF, come together at least once a month to break bread, share meals, and strengthen our relationships with one another. Fellowship is essential to creating meaningful connections and building life long relationships.

    Raising Hands
  • Prayer is the lifeblood of our faith, an intimate and ongoing conversation with our Creator. We believe that prayer is not just a religious duty but a powerful and personal connection with God. Through prayer, we come before the Father, laying down our burdens, seeking His will, and aligning our hearts with His. We also believe in the profound truth that prayer moves the hand of God—He hears and responds to the prayers of His people. Scripture teaches that God’s power and authority are exercised, in part, through the prayers of the saints. Whether in moments of quiet reflection or fervent intercession, prayer is where we commune with God, experience His presence, and witness His hand at work in the world around us.
